By completing this form, you are starting your admissions enquiry journey with us. The information you provide gives us an initial understanding of your child and the support they may need.
What happens next?
Once you have submitted this form:
You will receive further information by email.
We will send you our referral form to complete.
The referral form helps us gather more detailed information about your child’s needs, strengths, current situation and support requirements.
In some cases, we may ask for additional information, such as further forms, reports or school information.
Our team will carefully review the information you provide.
If we feel we may be able to meet your child’s needs, we will contact you about arranging a visit.
The visit gives you and your child the opportunity to see the setting, meet the team and get a feel for how Toucan Education works.
If we feel we can meet your child’s needs, we will send the relevant enrolment paperwork.
Your child will then initially be accepted for a 4 academic week trial placement.
We will keep you updated throughout the process and explain each step as we move forward. You can also contact our team at any time if you have any questions or need support.
Fees
A Toucan Flexi School place starts from £70 for a half day and £120 for a full day.
Fees may vary depending on the level of support your child needs. If additional support, specialist input or therapy is required, this may incur additional fees and will be discussed with you before a place is confirmed.
For Alternative Provision placements, fees are based on the individual needs of the child, the level of support required and the agreed package of provision. This will be confirmed following a review of the referral information and any discussions with parents, schools or local authorities.

Step 2: Gathering Further Information
Once we have received your admissions enquiry form, we will send you our referral form.
This form asks for more detailed information about your child’s needs, strengths, current situation and support requirements. It helps us understand which Toucan Education service may be most suitable.
Step 3: Additional Information
In some cases, we may ask for additional information before arranging a visit.
This could include further forms, reports, school information or details about your child’s current support. This helps us make sure we have the right information to make a careful and informed decision.
Step 4: Scheduling a Visit
Once we have reviewed the information and feel we may be able to meet your child’s needs, we will contact you to arrange a visit.
This gives you and your child the opportunity to see the setting, meet the team and get a feel for how Toucan Education works.
Step 5: Enrolment Paperwork and Trial Placement

Admissions Overview For Parents & Guardians
We welcome students aged 5-15 who would benefit from a tailored educational approach. Our specialised programs are designed to support neurodivergent learners and those with SEND, fostering their social, emotional, and academic growth in a nurturing environment.
Our three sites—Hub 1, Hub 2, and Forest School—each offer unique learning opportunities. Whether your child attends half a day up to a maximum of 3 days, we are dedicated to helping them thrive.
