At Toucan Education, we’ve always been passionate about supporting children and young people across the North East. Through our Flexi School, Forest School and Alternative Provision, we’ve created opportunities for those who need them most. Alongside this, our dyslexia assessments have helped both young people and adults gain a clearer understanding of their strengths and differences.
Now, as we step into Dyslexia Awareness Week 2025, we’re excited to announce the next chapter in our journey: Toucan Workplace.
Today we are letting you know about something new. We have been supporting many young people and adults through our dyslexia assessments, giving them the understanding of their strengths and differences, but we are now happy to announce the next exciting venture for Toucan.
As we go into Dyslexia Awareness Week, we are delighted to launch Toucan Workplace all about Empowering People, Empowering Business, Supporting neurodiverse talent and inclusive employers.
Toucan Workplace is here to provide Workplace Needs Assessments, Dyslexia Assessments and Training, offering businesses and organisations the tools to create real and lasting change. Creating neuro-inclusion empowers employees to thrive, supports managers and senior leaders to build understanding, and helps organisations unlock the benefits of diverse talent.

Empowering and Supporting Your Neurodivergent Staff is designed for business leaders, HR teams and managers who want to create more inclusive workplaces.
At this session we will:
• Guide you through your legal duties as an employer under the Equality Act.
• Explore the challenges neurodivergent individuals may face in the workplace.
• Show how simple, practical adjustments can make a big difference.
• Highlight the benefits of fostering a truly inclusive and supportive culture.
Spaces are free but limited, so early registration is encouraged.
